Mr. Resnick, an entertainment attorney practicing in Philadelphia, has worked in the entertainment industry for thirty years.

Mr. Resnick has served as a Lecturer in Law on the faculty of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, teaching Entertainment Law. He has also been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School, where he taught in the Entertainment and Media Law LL.M. (Master of Laws) Online program.

Mr. Resnick served on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Chapter of The Recording Academy for 2011-2015, where was Co-Chair of the Classical Music and Advocacy Committees, as well as a member of the Nominating Committee. He serves on the national Grammy Awards Hall of Fame Committee.

After the CLE program, experience a night of the "undead" during Zombie Night at Citizens Bank Park as the Philadelphia Phillies host the Washington Nationals. At this Phillies Theme Night, fans are encouraged to come dressed up in family-friendly Zombie attire and make-up.

This second course in the Philadelphia Bar Association Entertainment Law CLE series adds the fun factor to earning your two required ethics credits.

In the first hour, attendees will examine entertainment fee agreements using a sample hourly rate agreement and a contingent fee agreement. The featured speaker, entertainment lawyer, Bernie Resnick, will discuss the
ethical requirements of fee agreements, with a focus on attorney’s fees in the sports and entertainment industry.

In the second hour, Resnick will lead a discussion of ethics issues that attorneys typically encounter in the sports and entertainment industry, highlighting Pennsylvania Disciplinary Rules 1.5, 1.7 and 1.8.
