Individuals with disabilities face discrimination on a daily basis especially when seeking and enjoying their housing. This CLE course will provide an overview of the rights of persons with disabilities under the Fair Housing Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and examine the duties of housing providers under the Federal law. The course will outline defenses to discrimination claims and explore the area of reasonable accommodations.
