The Public Interest Section is pleased to announce the formation of a new mentorship program for public interest attorneys.
The Public Interest Attorney Mentorship Program is a collaboration between the Public Interest Section, the Public Interest Alumni Network, and Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.
Recognizing that after law school there are limited opportunities for organized professional mentorships, the Public Interest Section sought to establish an opportunity for more shared learning of experience over the years. This kick-off event is the first in a series planned to facilitate mentoring relationships within the public interest bar, with an aim to provide participants with a network of mentors, including people early in their career, mid-career, and very experienced.
At this program, participants will go through a guided process in small group discussions to identify what they can offer as mentors, what their goals are as mentees, and potential mentors with whom they would like to continue building a relationship.
Participants should be working in or retired from government or public interest law positions. Please register for this event through this invitation, AND ALSO complete a short questionnaire via the link below:
