Get Admitted to U.S. Supreme Court on May 4
Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor Hon. A. Michael Snyder (Ret.) will move the admission of up to 25 members to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States on Monday, May 4. The admission ceremony will occur before the full Supreme Court sitting in Washington, D.C.
Deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
Requirements & Instructions
Once you have successfully completed the admission form, please mail it with a check made payable to the Philadelphia Bar Association. The cost to attend the ceremony is $240 for members of the Philadelphia Bar Association and includes your application fee and a continental breakfast. Per the Supreme Court's rule, each applicant is permitted to bring only one guest. A guest is an additional $40. Please remit payment to: Attn: Dawn Petit, Philadelphia Bar Association, 1101 Market Street, 11th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Do not send the application directly to the Supreme Court.

Workers' Compensation Section Lunch and Learn & Charitable Collection for St. John's Hospice – Jan. 24
The Workers' Compensation Section's first Charitable Collection of 2020 will be for St. John's Hospice located in Center City, Philadelphia. Donations will be accepted at the January lunch and learn CLE Practice Tips and Expectations from Newest WCOA Judges, on January 24, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.
The following items are being sought: MEN'S WHITE TUBE SOCKS FOR WINTER. These tube socks can be found at Modell’s Sporting Goods, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and on Amazon.com. For the first time, we will also be collecting MEN’S THERMAL UNDERWEAR. Lastly, we are accepting donations of TOTE BAGS, which can be obtained near the registers at establishments such as Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross and Home Goods for $.99 each.

Experienced Mass Tort Attorneys Needed for LRIS Referrals
The Philadelphia Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) has expanded its Product Liability panels in order to better meet the needs of clients requiring assistance with injuries resulting from the use of Paxil, Reglan, Risperdal, Xarelto, Yaz, pelvic mesh or talc.
If you have significant experience litigating any of these matters, we invite you to join LRIS. Attorneys wishing to receive referrals for claims involving Paxil, Reglan, Risperdal, Xarelto, Yaz, pelvic mesh or talc must represent, or have represented, at least 12 plaintiffs in civil actions involving the same product brought in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and must have completed a minimum of five hours of CLE in trial tactics, products liability or class actions within the past three years.
