Coaches Needed for Mock Trial Competition
Volunteer attorneys are needed immediately to serve as coaches for the 2006 John S. Bradway High School Mock Trial Competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association in collaboration with the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Temple University Beasley School of Law.
In Philadelphia, almost 40 high schools compete and coaches are crucial to providing these "up and coming lawyers" with the guidance and skills they need to compete in this statewide competion. Through helping students understand the way a trial works, assisting with developing trial strategies, and teaching trial fundamentals, volunteer coaches make the critical difference in whether a team wins or loses and competes in the National Mock Trial Competition.
Time commitment is approximately 2-3 hours per week.
