Statement by Chancellor William P. Fedullo on Thomas R. Kline's Donation to Drexel Law
William P. Fedullo, Chancellor of the 13,000-member Philadelphia Bar Association, today applauded the donation made by Philadelphia trial attorney Thomas R. Kline to Drexel University School of Law (now the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law) this week, calling it "a remarkable gift that will advance the skills of future generations of attorneys in a city known as the birthplace of law in America."
"I applaud Thomas R. Kline for his extremely generous donation to Drexel University. Tom is a brilliant trial lawyer and an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. I am pleased he is supporting Drexel University in this extraordinary manner, as we are proud of our partnership with the law school and look forward to strengthening this relationship," Chancellor Fedullo said.
The Philadelphia Bar Association has a unique affiliation with Kline School of Law, which supports student membership in the Association. As part of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Bar-wide Law School Outreach Initiative, partnering with Kline School of Law has been a high priority for the Association.
"I am also delighted that the law school's Institute for Trial Advocacy will be located within close proximity to the Philadelphia Bar Association to allow both entities opportunity for joint activities and a synergistic relationship," Chancellor Fedullo added.
