Nominations Sought for Large Firm Management Committee Public Service Awards
Nominations are being accepted for the Philadelphia Bar Association's Large Firm Management Committee Public Service Awards to be presented to two associates at Philadelphia law firms who have been practicing law for five years or less. The awards will be presented at the Third Annual City-Wide Summer Associates Reception on Tuesday, June 23.
The awards will honor young lawyers who have made a difference in Philadelphia through extraordinary pro bono representation or public service to individuals or entities that address the challenges faced by communities of need in the City of Philadelphia. These Public Service Awards are made in support of Chancellor Albert S. Dandridge III's commitment to expand the role and direct involvement of members of the Philadelphia Bar Association in public service and making a difference in the lives of people in our community. The deadline for receipt of nominations is Thursday, May 28.
Nominations must be made in writing and no longer than two typed pages. Please include a detailed statement setting forth information and reasons why you are recommending the nominee for this award.

Nominees must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Significant accomplishments in pro bono representation of a client or clients;
- Significant service and leadership for an organization whose mission is to address the challenges of communities of need in Philadelphia;
- Significant service and leadership in establishing a new organization designed to address the challenges of a community of need in Philadelphia; and
- Excellent and exemplary non-legal leadership of a charitable organization in Philadelphia.
