Diversity: Business Case or Moral Imperative July 25
The Diversity in the Profession Committee will present "Advancing Diversity and Inclusion in the Legal Profession: The Business Case or Moral Imperative?" on Monday, July 25.
Speakers for the program include Paul Bonney, general counsel and vice president, PECO; Albert S. Dandridge III, partner, Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP; Roberta Jacobs-Meadway, member, board of directors and executive committee, co-chair of the Intellectual Property Group, Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC; and Michael K. Tucker, executive vice president and general counsel, Avis Budget Group, Inc.
They will discuss whether the business case for diversity or the "moral imperative" argument is more compelling; how a commitment to diversity and inclusion is conveyed within and outside their organizations; and best practices for the recruitment, retention and advancement of women and diverse attorneys.
The program, presented with the support of the Business Law Section, begins at 12 p.m. in the 11th floor Conference Center of Bar Association headquarters, 1101 Market St. Lunch is available for $8 for members and $9.50 for non-members. Lunch is complimentary for in-house counsel. Click here
