Chancellor's Symposium to Explore Government Policy, BusinessA Chancellor's Symposium on the effect of government policy on business will be held Thursday, Nov. 6 at The Downtown Club in the Public Ledger Building, 6th and Chestnut Streets, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
In addition to a keynote address from former Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker, now President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, you will hear from panels of distinguished business executives, attorneys and academicians. They will participate in panel discussions and address many issues including: Does the present regulatory environment aid or impede business? Do changes in the regulatory environment present opportunities or barriers for business? How will your clients conduct business in this era of renewed emphasis on corporate ethics and new laws on corporate governance?
