Probate and Trust Law

A Message from the Chair of the Section

Welcome to the Philadelphia Bar Association's Probate and Trust Law Section webpage. The Section is comprised of approximately 600 Philadelphia-area lawyers in practice areas such as estate planning, elder law, fiduciary litigation, and business planning. The Education Committee, one of nine different Committees in the Section, organizes and plans three meetings a year on issues relevant to our practice, and continuing education credits are available to all attendees. These programs, along with our various other Committee meetings and events, provide Section members with the opportunity to learn about new topics from experts, meet and network with colleagues in their practice area, and serve the Philadelphia indigent community at various events.

Our Section is committed to having a diverse membership, and we actively seek to partner with the other affinity groups in the Bar so that the Section is reflective of the overall membership of the Association. I would encourage anyone who is interested in our practice area to contact one of the officers of the Section and attend one of our many meetings or social events.
