RESOLUTION OF THE PHILADELPHIA BAR ASSOCIATION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS OF THE PROBATE AND TRUST LAW SECTION

WHEREAS, the Philadelphia Bar Association has a Probate and Trust Law Section, the purpose of which is to promote the objectives of the Association within the field of probate and trust law, to educate practitioners in all areas of practice concerning probate and trust law, to cooperate in attaining uniformity with respect to both legislation and administration in all matters within that field, and to simplify and improve the application of justice in that field;

WHEREAS, the Probate and Trust Law Section is governed by bylaws, which have been approved by the Board of Governors;

WHEREAS, the Probate and Trust Law Section has determined that amendments to its bylaws are necessary to improve the organization, governance and conduct of its business;

WHEREAS, the Probate and Trust Law Section Executive Committee has proposed and the Section’s membership has approved certain amendments to the bylaws involving the composition of the Executive Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Governors approves the amendments of the Probate and Trust Law Section bylaws, in the form attached hereto.
