2018 YLD Expungement Clinic Feb. 3
The first 2018 Young Lawyers Division Expungement Clinic will be held at the Marian Anderson Rec Center at 740 S. 17th St., Philadelphia, on Saturday, Feb. 3. In 2016 and 2017, the YLD helped hundreds of individuals expunge their records via its city-wide clinics. They will be continuing this good work with more clinics this year.
Please note that this clinic will be slightly different than before in that volunteer attorneys will keep their cases past the date of the clinic itself (i.e., volunteer attys. will file the petitions and see them through to completion). In other words, while the YLD team will remain available to direct volunteer attorneys to resources as needed after the clinic, it will be the volunteer attorney's case and they will be solely responsible for handling it thereafter.
For more information and to volunteer, click here. There will be FREE CLE training programs for volunteers (see CLE listings below).
