Attorney Mentoring Program Committee

Mentoring Program Application

At various times during a lawyer’s career, he or she may feel the need to seek advice from someone with more experience. The YLD has established a mentoring program whereby newer attorneys (proteges) are matched with more experienced lawyers (mentors). The mentor’s role is to informally help the protégé find the answers to questions concerning substantive law, balancing work and home life, dealing with the office politics, changing firms or starting a solo practice. New participants are brought into the program every Fall.
