This year, the YLD is holding its Law Week 2020 Poster Contest entirely online! The theme is "What Does the Right to Vote Mean to You?" and the contest is open to all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students from Philadelphia public, private, parochial, and charter elementary schools. YLD Law Week 2020 Essay Contest

Law Week 2020 continues with the YLD's 2020 Edward F. Chacker Essay Contest, held entirely online. A $1,000 college scholarship will be awarded to a Philadelphia high school junior or senior who writes the winning essay on the question: "What should new citizens know about the importance of the right to vote in America and the role it plays in our rights and responsibilities as U.S. citizens?" Transforming Access to Justice: Philadelphia Equal Justice Center
