Statement from Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor on First Responders
Chancellor Hon. A. Michael Snyder (ret.) issued the following statement reflecting on the 19th Anniversary of 9-11 and the need to remember first responders:
As we remember the horrific events of 19 years ago, when we were challenged so grievously as a nation, and as we reflect on those who gave their lives trying to provide help, I think that it is important for each of us to recognize the sacrifices of first responders then, and first responders now. We rebuilt after the attacks of 9-11, coming together as a nation. We have been facing another kind of an attack on our society now, one that has come in the form of a horrible illness. Once again, first responders have put their own safety at risk to aid others. Let us, once again, come together as a nation, to defeat this unseen foe.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
Mike Snyder
