The Workers' Compensation Section is pleased to announce that our November 2020 Charitable Collection will be for St. John's Hospice located in Center City Philadelphia.

Saint John's Hospice was created as an outreach ministry to serve and assist the poor and homeless in the community. They provide crucial, life-sustaining services with dignity, respect and compassion to homeless men in Philadelphia, serving over 3,000 meals each week, as well as providing showers, clothing, mail services, case management, medical assistance and counseling for all.

The following items are being sought for donation: MEN'S WHITE TUBE SOCKS FOR WINTER. These tube socks can be found at Modell’s Sporting Goods, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and on though our Amazon.com wishlist. Please enter the e-mail address, esmall@CHS-ADPHILA.ORG, to send a gift receipt. TOTE BAGS are also needed. They can be obtained near the registers at establishments such as Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross and Home Goods for $.99 each.

Thank you in advance to all of those attorneys and law firms who have generously provided donations for the Annual Thanksgiving event, and to those attorneys and staff members who are making packed individual lunches for this worthy charity. As always, the Workers’ Compensation Section gratefully acknowledges your generosity in contributing annually to St. John’s Hospice.
