The Philadelphia Bar Association, with the support of the City of Philadelphia and several non-profit legal aid organizations, has formed Take Action Philly (TAP) - an initiative uniting lawyers, government, community organizations and residents to to offer protection and assistance. Together, we will identify ways to become involved and engaged in response to federal and state policy decisions.

Through this unprecedented effort, TAP will convene local public and private sector lawyers, as well as community members and the general public, for a series of discussions. The goal of convening is to educate Philadelphia's legal community about the anticipated impact of federal and state policy decisions in various topic areas, and identify an action plan for people to get involved.

Convening Number One: Immigrant & Refugee Policy

Feb. 24, 2017

The first event of the series focused on Immigrant and Refugee Policy. Members of the legal community were encouraged to attend and learn how to take action by working together to design solutions that can truly make a difference in the lives of many of our residents.
