Interested in running in the upcoming YLD Election for one of the 7 open 2011 Executive Committee seats but unsure how the process works? Your questions and more will be reviewed during an Information Session next Monday, Sept. 20 for anyone who would like to learn about the YLD or running in the YLD Election. Last Chance!: The People's Law School Kicks Off NEXT TUESDAY
Tell family, friends and others who might benefit that The People's Law School, a six-week legal education program featuring 11 courses on a range of topics, begins A WEEK FROM TODAY, September 21. The program takes place every Tuesday from 6:15-8:30 p.m. through October 26 in the Jury Assembly Room at the Criminal Justice Center, 1301 Filbert St and costs $40, which includes access to all sessions and the course materials book. YLD Photography Contest Entries Due NEXT MONDAY
The YLD welcomes submissions from all members of the Bar Association for "Eyes on the Environment," a photography contest in which the winner and runner-up will receive $200 and $100 gift certificates, respectively, to Ruth's Chris Steak House as well as have their images featured in The Philadelphia Lawyer, the Association's magazine. Submission are due next Monday, September 20. READ MORE
