The YLD enourages everyone to sign up for the 38th Annual Philly Bar Association 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, May 21. The Division has a team this year, the "YLDers," and you can sign up here. All proceeds from the race benefit Support Center for Child Advocates. Even if you sign up on your firm team, please meet other YLD runners before the race for a picture and some group stretching. A meeting time and place will be circulated closer to the race.
Legal Line Volunteers Needed May 17
Volunteers are needed to staff Legal Line on May 17 from 5-8 p.m. in the LRIS offices on the 11th Floor of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Volunteers do not need to stay for all three hours. The shift options are as follows:
- 5:00-6:30 p.m.
- 6:30-8:00 p.m.
If you are able to stay the entire time, even better! Dinner will be provided and there will be an Association staff attorney on duty to provide instructions and assist with questions and referrals should they arise.
