Reentering the Workforce Dec. 17
The Education Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association will explore the needs of attorneys who have left the practice of law and now want to return, including: offering programming to address the needs and skills of reentering attorneys with those of employers who are open to hiring attorneys with non-traditional work histories.
Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 17 when Lisa Goldstein of Special Counsel will offer her experience in this area. She will also offer guidance in crafting a resume and learning effective interviewing techniques. The program will be moderated by Catherine H. Agnew of PBA's Education Committee.
Any recent law school graduates or lawyers who wish to reenter the workforce are invited to attend.
Chancellor Kathleen D. Wilkinson believes that "both practicing and non-practicing attorneys interested in contributing their insights and experiences are encouraged to attend." In addition, an update on the activities of the ACE program (Advancing Civics Education) and the recent Youth Court program will also be provided.
The program begins at 4 p.m. in the 10th floor Board Room at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 1101 Market St. There is no cost to attend but registration is required.
